The Heath A. Barlow Scholarship and Award was established
by the 2004-2005 JEMBA/CHEMBA class in memory of their beloved
classmate who passed away suddenly during his internship
in 2005. The award is presented to the JEMBA or CHEMBA student
who best exemplifies Heath's qualities during his or her
time at JAIMS.
Mr. Young, who was the first recipient of the award, said
he was honored to be associated with Heath, an individual
who was "hard-working,
caring, and generous, life-loving, and the
glue that brought the class together."
